HALF DAY OR TWILIGHT · FOR MFL TEACHERS
Feedback in the Languages Classroom
More impact from MFL feedback, and less time spent marking
Why this course?
Marking and feedback are not the same thing, and language teachers carry a heavier marking load than most. This session separates the two, looks hard at what the research says actually moves learning forward, and rebuilds a feedback approach that is sustainable across a department.
What you'll learn
- What the research tells us about what effective feedback looks like
- Reviewing your departmental feedback policy, and what to change
- An introduction to audio feedback and individualised recorded comment
- Whole class feedback activities that save marking but keep the impact
- Making sure pupils act on feedback rather than simply reading it
“I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you for today, they absolutely loved the session and the feedback was so positive.”Bolton Learning Partnership
