TWILIGHT OR HALF DAY · FOR MFL TEACHERS

Superlative Starter Activities in Languages

MFL openings that recall prior learning and set the pace of the lesson

Why this course?

A starter is not a settling task. Used well, it is the highest value five minutes in the lesson: retrieval of prior learning, a check on what has stuck, and a signal about pace and expectation. This session looks at what the research says and what that looks like in a languages room.
